Ian Fletcher (left), the author of
well over twenty books on Wellington, the Peninsular War
and Crimean War, Ian leads all tours to the Peninsula,
Waterloo and the Crimea, along with Natalia Ishchenko (2nd

leads our Napoleon in Italy and Austerlitz tours.An
ex-regular soldier, Julian is the author of several books
including major works on both the Crimean War and the
Indian Mutiny. ATV scriptwriter, he writes many of the
military obituaries that appear in the Daily Telegraph. Natalia
Ishchenko (2nd from left). Natalia is
co-author, along with Ian Fletcher, of the acclaimed The
Crimean War: A Clash of Empires. She has also
co-written The War in the Crimea: An Illustrated
History and The Battle of the Alma. Natalia is
a professor at the Vernardsky University in the Crimea.
She is a doctor of English literature and adds much
Russian insight on our Crimean tours. James Falkner (centre).
There aren’t too many who know the Marlburian
battlefields as well as James, the author of Great and
Glorious Days, Fire Over the Rock, Marlborough’s
Wars and Marlborough's Sieges, to name a
few. James leads our tours to Blenheim, Flodden, Sedgemoor
and Gibraltar. Natalia Griffon (2nd right)
will be our host in Paris. Natalia has been a guest
speaker on our tours to Corunna and Talavera and is a
Fellow of the Souvenir Napoleonien International.
She can count a history of
the Corunna campaign amongst her many publications.
