Originally the idea of taking a tour to the infamous Schloss Adler seemed like a bit of a joke until it gathered pace and finally became the subject of some serious planning with a view to actually undertaking the tour. In addition to the castle there are enough locations to be found where filming took place to make this a fun weekend. It would have been nice to have gone in the winter when snow would have been guaranteed, but the Schloss is not open between early November and the end of March, so it was decided to go in late October. It will still be a great weekend, especially for fans of the film which has long since achieved cult status, and no doubt many a scene will be played out on our tour. So, if you fancy something completely different from the usual battlefield tours, this weekend is for you. Broadsword out.....
