Agemus Agenda
The tours in the IFBT brochure are designed to cover what we consider to be the most popular areas in themed battlefield tour holidays. However, if there is ever an occasion when you would like something a little bit different or special please don’t hesitate to contact us. IFBT has organised many bespoke tours for groups, regiments and societies over the years, and for small groups of individuals wanting something a bit special. Our guests have included Ampleforth College, the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, Lord and Lady Douro and NE Brigade to name a few. One of the pictures below, taken at Pegasus Bridge shows Ian Fletcher and Julian Spilsbury who escorted Peter and Sue Cox to follow Peter’s father’s footsteps with the East Yorkshire Regiment from the day he landed on 6 June 1944 until the day he won the Military Medal during Operation Veritable on the Weeze-Udem road, a battlefield that has not changed since February 1945. Naturally, private one-on-one tours with an expert guide are not cheap if there are only a couple of guests (the more guests who travel the cheaper the tour, of course) but if you want something a bit special why not contact us? itineraries can be designed to suit all tastes and levels of accommodation. Just let us have as much information as possible and we can take it from there.
Here are some pictures of our private tours over recent years, from Ypres, the Crimea, Steenkirk, Portugal (with Lord and lady Douro), the Pyrenees and Pegasus Bridge.
