St Petersburg tour extension

stpetersburg

St Petersburg, the old capital city of Russia, is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. Leningrad, as it was once known, is criss-crossed by canals and is full of beautiful buildings and museums. It is quite breathtaking. We are offering a 4 day/3 night extension to the Napoleon and Russia 1812 tour. When the 1812 tour ends those who decide to book the extension will take an internal flight to St Petersburg, transfer to a 4-star hotel and have the best part of four days to enjoy at their leisure. There will not be any set programme but guests will find much to do. Indeed, it is possible to spend an entire day at the world-famous Hermitage Museum alone. Housed in the old Winter Palace it really is a must-see.There is the nearby Peterhof, the Kazan Cathedral, containing captured French eagles from 1814 amongst other things, the battleship ‘Aurora’, that took centre stage for a while during the October Revolution and many other museums and galleries. So, why not take advantage of your visa and extend your tour by an extra four days and fly home to London from St Petersburg?
